Oil Last Glance

Oil Last Glance

It is last light the close of a good day. The weather was perfect. The boat has been put to bed all cleaned up and tied down for the night. The smell of the water in general lapping of the waves can be heard . A gull is taking its last lap by the shore, distant house lights twinkle. Soft voices of shoreline activity are heard in the distance the nightmare is closing .

It was a good to be alive day, vows to  return soon.
It was  worth all the effort.
